Directions

By Car— New Buffalo, Michigan is a 90 minute drive from Chicago. Take either the I-94 or the I-90 (a bit faster but has tolls) east to New Buffalo.

By Train— Amtrak offers 4 trains daily between Chicago and New Buffalo. The ride is 75 minutes long and $12 each way. The train departs from Union Station (downtown Chicago) and arrives in downtown New Buffalo. The schedule can be found here.

Flying in— Both Chicago O’hare and Midway airports are good options

  • If you choose to rent a car, the drive is ~90 minutes from either airport

  • If you choose to go downtown Chicago and catch the Amtrak, you can take the L to Union Station from either airport.

  • From O’Hare, take the blue line to Clinton and walk 5 minutes (50 minutes total)

  • From Midway, take the orange line to Quincy and walk 7 minutes (35 minutes total)

 

Accommodations

While the wedding venue is in Three Oaks, Michigan, we encourage you to stay in the charming town of New Buffalo. The town is very walkable with restaurants and shops. If you decide to stay outside of the town note that due to the limited taxi and ride shares in the area, there can be a long wait times so planning ahead is recommended. Union Pier and Grand Beach (both 5 minutes up the road) are nice residential areas with rentals and Bed and Breakfasts.

 Transportation Schedule

We will be providing buses from the Marina Grand Resort and the Fairfield Inn. Buses will depart from both locations at 3:30pm EST and 4:20pm EST.
